Some screens are about privacy. Honeysuckle is about presence. It’s a flowing pattern of leaves, petals and curling vines, cut so the shapes tangle into each other without ever feeling busy. Whether it’s mounted flat on a wall, filling a fence panel, or doing the job of a driveway gate, this is a design that turns a functional bit of steel into the first thing people notice.
Decorative metal screen for interior feature walls
Above a couch or a bed head is the obvious spot for Honeysuckle indoors, and for good reason. The pattern needs a bit of height to breathe, so a tall run of wall with nothing else competing for attention is exactly where it earns its keep. It reads dark and moody against a plain white or grey wall, with the gaps in the pattern letting a bit of the wall colour show through so it never feels like a solid block.
Decorative screen as an indoor room divider
Honeysuckle also works well as a room divider if you want to break up an open plan space without closing it in completely. Because the design is so open, light and sound still move through it. You just get a bit of separation and a lot more visual interest than a standard partition.
Garden privacy screen and fence panels
Take the same pattern outdoors and it becomes a garden screen or a feature panel along a fence line. Planted up behind it, climbing jasmine or an actual honeysuckle vine growing through the cutouts would suit the name a treat. Because the pattern repeats and flows, it lines up cleanly across multiple panels, so a full fence run reads as one continuous design rather than a row of separate pieces sitting between block piers. Laser cut driveway gates
Run Honeysuckle through a driveway gate and you get privacy and street appeal in one go. Enough coverage to keep the property private, but still open enough to let light and air through, and enough presence that it becomes the first thing people notice pulling into the driveway.
Corten steel or powder coated aluminium
If you’re using it outside, Corten is the pick for most gardens. It starts out as plain black steel and slowly weathers to that warm earthy colour over a few months, or we can pre rust it for you before it leaves the workshop so you get that look straight away. For anywhere corrosion could be an issue, like near the coast, powder coated aluminium is the better call and it can be colour matched from the Dulux range to whatever you’re working with.
Every screen we do is designed and cut right here in New Zealand, and the metal is fully recyclable, so if you ever did want to change it up down the line, none of it goes to waste.
