Flow Decorative Metal Screen | Incision NZ

Not every screen needs leaves and petals. Flow is bold, loose and a bit wild, and it makes a wall look like it’s got somewhere to be.

Flow decorative metal screen: bold abstract pattern for modern spaces

Not every screen needs to look like it grew there. Flow is all movement, big overlapping shapes that look like petals caught mid gust of wind. It’s bolder and more abstract than our botanical designs, which makes it the pick for anyone working with a more modern build, a bit of concrete, black cladding, clean lines, that sort of thing. Hang it on a feature wall or run it along a fence and it holds its own without needing anything soft or leafy around it to make sense.

Decorative metal screen for feature walls

Flow works best where you want the wall to actually do something. Above a bed, behind a dining table, or on its own down a hallway, the bold shapes carry from a distance so you don’t need to be standing right in front of it to get the full effect. Because the pattern is more graphic than botanical, it suits a monochrome or concrete grey palette better than a busy or textured wall.

Modern room dividers that still let light through

Same as our other screens, Flow works as an indoor divider for open plan spaces. The bigger, bolder cutouts let more light through than a fine detailed pattern would, so you get a stronger visual break between areas without the room feeling chopped up or dark on one side.

Garden and fence screens with a modern edge

Outdoors, Flow suits a fence line or garden screen for a place that’s going for clean and contemporary rather than cottage garden. It doesn’t need climbing plants or greenery to soften it, the pattern already does its own thing. Good option if you want privacy along a boundary without the place looking like everyone else’s picket fence.

Corten steel or powder coated aluminium

Flow works well in either finish depending on the look you’re after. Corten starts out as plain black steel and weathers to that warm rusty colour over a few months outdoors, or we can pre rust it for you before it ships if you want that look from day one. If you’re closer to the coast or corrosion’s a concern, powder coated aluminium is the safer bet, and it can be colour matched from the Dulux range to fit whatever you’re building.

Every Flow screen is designed and cut here in New Zealand from fully recyclable steel, so it’s not adding to landfill even at the end of its life.

Your Imagination Is the Only Limit

No two screen projects are ever the same, and that’s what we love about them. One person wants a private spa corner. Another wants an entrance that stops people in their tracks. Someone else just wants to hide the bins (no judgement, we’ve all got bins). With a bold pattern like Flow, the shapes do the talking, so you can be as quiet or as dramatic as you like with everything around it.

Every good space starts with an idea and gets built one thoughtful detail at a time. If you’re planning a renovation, a new build, a garden refresh or a commercial space people will remember, we’d love to help.
